Event Equipment Driver & General Operative.
Sonix Entertainment is looking for a reliable, physically fit and practical person to join our events team. This is a hands-on role involving driving company vans, loading and unloading equipment, setting up events, supervising activities, carrying out general maintenance and keeping the warehouse organised.
Main Duties.
Drive company vans to and from event locations
Load and unload event equipment
Set up and dismantle marquees and stretch tents
Set up and dismantle bouncy castles and inflatable equipment
Supervise inflatables and event activities when required
Prepare equipment for upcoming events
Clean, inspect and maintain equipment
Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance
Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised
Assist customers and venue staff professionally
Follow all company health and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to company vehicle insurance requirements Full, clean Category B driving licence Previous experience driving vans Strong and physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy equipment Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Available for early mornings, evenings and weekends Good communication and customer service skills Legally entitled to work in Ireland
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
Marquee or stretch-tent installation Bouncy castles or inflatable equipment Event setup and supervision Warehouse work General maintenance and repairs Construction or other physical outdoor work Driving with a trailer Full training will be provided.
