About Us:
Ginkgo Chinese Restaurant is a busy, well-established Chinese restaurant known for our fast-paced service and quality dining experience. We're looking for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional table service
- Take accurate food and drink orders, confidently recommend dishes and specials
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guests have an excellent dining experience
- Handle billing and payments accurately (cash and card)
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to keep service running smoothly
- Assist with opening/closing duties, restocking, and maintaining a clean, tidy dining area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress required, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Good spoken English and strong communication skills
- Must have legal right to work in Ireland (documentation required)
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to multitask under pressure
- Team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude
