About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Junior Repair & Refurbishment Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role plays a key part in maintaining and refurbishing returned equipment, ensuring it is repaired, tested, and prepared to a high standard for reuse or redeployment.
Working closely with the Technical Support Manager and Workshop Technician, you’ll gain valuable experience in equipment repair, fault finding, and workshop operations within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, descale, test, and clean returned equipment in line with company standards
- Diagnose basic faults and carry out repairs on electro-mechanical equipment
- Prepare and pack equipment for transfer back to the warehouse
- Support the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with technical and support teams
About You
- Strong technical aptitude with an interest in hands-on work
- Ideally some experience in a workshop, production, or technical environment
- Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment is an advantage
- Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
