Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a well-established retailer, is looking for an Butcher to join their team in Cork.

Per hour: €17 - €18.50 DOE
Responsibilities of this Butcher:

Prepare, cut, trim, and package a variety of meats to customer specifications

Ensure the highest quality and freshness of products

Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing counter

Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with their meat selections

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

Manage stock rotation and minimise waste
Requirements of this Butcher:

Proven experience as a butcher in a retail or food service setting

Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards

Commitment to excellent customer service

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
