The RoleAs a Food & Beverage Supervisor at The Ballintemple Inn, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring high standards across both our food and beverage operations. You will oversee day-to-day service, support our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensure smooth collaboration between the bar, restaurant, and kitchen.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and bar staff, promoting teamwork and high performance. Prepare and serve beverages as needed, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits. Monitor and maintain food and beverage quality, presentation, and hygiene standards. Manage inventory, ordering, restocking, and minimizing waste. Assist in scheduling and delegating staff duties to ensure smooth operations. Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve service issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to coordinate service and special events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage, hospitality, or bar operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a professional, positive attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences and maintaining high standards.
Pay: €27,000.00-€35,449.41 per year
