The 4 * Westport Hotel Group are currently recruiting for the position of Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in our very popular Coast Bar at the Westport Coast Hotel. Known for delivering high quality food and excellent guest experience, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic leadership team.

The Westport Coast Hotel’s Coast Bar offers a busy, casual dining experience with classic favourites, serving a high volume of guests year-round.
We are looking for a passionate and highly organised chef who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food daily.
The Role
· Lead, motivate and support the existing kitchen team in a high-volume environment, delivering a consistent high standard of food.
· Oversee all kitchen operations, ordering & management of stock, menu planning, cost control.
· Ensure compliance with Health & Safety & HACCP regulations.
· Recruit, train & motivate all new kitchen staff as required.
· Communicate with F&B staff & Hotel Management to ensure smooth daily operations.
· Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings.
What we are looking for
· Proven experience as a head chef in a high-volume, quality focused kitchen.
· Passion for food, quality, and guest satisfaction.
· Strong leadership & organisational skills with experience of building & motivating high performance teams.
· Calm under pressure, solution focused and an excellent communicator.
· Solid knowledge of food trends, costing & kitchen management systems.
