The Preschool Assistant Educator is required to assist the Lead Educator in caring for and educating a group of preschool age children in a fun, caring and inclusive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a fetac level 5 in childcare. The starting hourly rate is €15 per hour, however this is negotiable based on the candidates experience and qualifications. The candidate will be required to work as part of a team, alongside our existing staff members, in our happy work environment.
The job role involves;
- Using the guidelines of Aistear and Siolta to assist in creating an engaging curriculum and activities for the children.
- Conducting developmental observations and continuous record keeping.
- Creating strong relationships with children and parents.
- Having a genuine passion and love for caring for children and aiding them in their development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
