Bernard Kavanagh & Sons Ltd is currently recruiting a School Bus Driver for the Athlone area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The successful applicants will be responsible for providing transportation school children, this will involve short runs and local routes throughout the week.
Qualifications and Skills:
The successful applicants will hold a valid D driving Licence and have excellent driving standards for a large coach and exemplary customer service skills.
You will need to have the ability to work within EU Drivers Hours Regulations training will be given if you are not familiar with the regulations) and to plan your driving time and rest breaks to ensure that you work legally at all times.
Successful applicants will be smartly presented and able to deal with unforeseen issues which may arise, including customer service issues, route changes etc.
As well as a valid driving entitlement you will also need a current driver CPC card and driver digital tachograph card.
All Drivers must be able to pass Police Vetting.
