Qualified Butcher for O’Connells of The Lough, Cork
O’Connells of The Lough are looking to recruit a Qualified Butcher to join the team at their very busy Butcher Shop at the Lough, Cork. This is a great opportunity to join a leading brand with one of the best butchers in the city.
The successful candidates will ideally: Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Qualified Butcher in a butcher store or supermarket. Have a strong knowledge of meat products and a passion for fresh food retailing.
Responsibilities of the position
1. Ensuring all meat and food produce are prepared and presented to the highest of standards.
2. As a key member of the Meat Processing team ensure stock is prepared and ready for sale in an efficient manner
. 3. Ensuring stock control, stock rotation, proper storage and handling of all products
4. Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the store.
5. Implementing all Health & Safety and HACCP standards within the store.
