Wedding and Events Co Ordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wedding and Events Co Ordinator at the luxury 4* Johnstown Estate Hotel and Spa
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Conference and Events Sales Manager the Wedding and Events Co Ordinator will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the Wedding & Events sales targets of hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

To proactively generate meeting and events enquiries for the team.

To work at promotional shows and stands to promote the hotel

To meet weekly KPI targets on sales appointments and promotional shows

To work with the proactive and reactive sales teams to deliver meetings and events budgeted revenue weekly/monthly

To give input on activity and new ideas to generate revenue to the quarterly and annual sales and marketing plan

To conduct site inspections on the property with potential clients

To build and develop relationships with wedding couples and clints

To negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.

To close prospects as confirmed bookings and maximise all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas.
Requirements:

1 - 2 years previous event sales or wedding coordinating experience in a hotel or venue

Experience working with customers

An excellent command of the English language

Excellent organisational skills

Possess the ability to see an opportunity act on it to secure revenue for the Hotel.

Strong selling and interpersonal skills.

High level of creativity.

Full driving license is essential
