Eco Horizon LTD is a leading installer of solar PV and renewable energy solutions, specialising in domestic and commercial projects across Leinster and North Munster. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Electrician’s Mate to assist our qualified electricians on solar PV installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Installations: Support the qualified electrician in the installation of solar PV systems, including handling tools, materials, and equipment.
- Site Preparation: Ensure the workspace is safe, clean, and ready for installation tasks.
- Wiring and Connections: Assist with basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as cable routing and panel mounting.
- Equipment Handling: Safely transport and position equipment and materials on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all site safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Documentation Support: Help maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a construction, electrical, or renewable energy setting is an advantage but not essential.
- Safe Pass (required).
- Manual Handling Certificate (preferred).
Skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness for handling equipment and materials.
- Full, clean driving license.
Additional Information
- Monday to Friday
- Based in Mountrath, Co. Laois, with travel 4-5 days per week.
- Full-time.
- €15–€25 per hour. Depending on experience
