HeyDay is looking for experienced, dynamic Hospitality Supervisors to lead our front-of-house teams across a busy lineup of summer events in Dublin. In this role, you will be the driving force on the ground, managing a team of primarily wait staff to ensure seamless service and high standards.
The ideal candidate is an organized, confident leader who thrives in fast-paced event environments, possesses excellent communication skills and knows what top-tier banqueting and food service looks like.

Starting immediately, we have an exciting calendar of summer events lined up, ranging from large-scale public gatherings to exclusive private functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead teams at high-profile experiences, manage diverse event setups, and work with a vibrant, energetic crew.
Job Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Manage, brief, and motivate a team of wait staff before and during shifts, ensuring everyone understands their sections and duties.
- Service Oversight: Oversee food, beverage, and tray service (including banqueting setups and multi-course plate service) to guarantee efficiency and elegance.
- Client & Guest Relations: Act as a key point of contact for event managers and clients, handling any guest inquiries or issues with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
- Quality Control: Ensure tables are set correctly, the floor remains clean and tidy and the team strictly adheres to presentation and hygiene standards.
- Logistics & Setup: Assist with the initial event setup, staff sign-ins, uniform checks, and end-of-shift debriefs.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of three years of hospitality experience, with proven experience in a supervisory or team-lead role within event, banqueting or high-volume settings.
- Language: Full proficiency in the English language.
- Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to think on your feet, manage a team under pressure and remain flexible with shift patterns.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to uniform requirements and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Legal: Legally authorized to work in Ireland.
