Part-Time Data Research & Entry Assistant – Remote

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to support us with a short-term data research and data entry project.
The role will involve researching companies and individuals online, identifying the correct professional contact information and accurately adding this information to our existing master spreadsheets.
This would suit someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys online research and is confident using Excel or Google Sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research companies and relevant individuals online
- Identify the correct people within specified companies and job functions
- Find and verify professional/business email addresses
- Use LinkedIn, company websites and other appropriate online research tools
- Add names, job titles, companies, email addresses and other requested information to master spreadsheets
- Check existing records to avoid duplicates
- Update or correct outdated information where identified
- Maintain consistent formatting across the database
- Keep accurate records of completed research
- Flag any contacts or information that cannot be confidently verified
What We're Looking For
You will need to be:
- Very accurate with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable researching people and companies online
- Familiar with LinkedIn
- Organised and methodical
- Able to work independently from home
- Conscious of confidentiality and responsible handling of business contact data
- Available to complete the project within approximately 2–3 weeks
Previous experience in data entry, database management, CRM administration, sales research or lead generation would be an advantage but is not essential.
The Project
This is a short-term project designed to help us clean, update and expand our existing business contact masterfiles.
Clear instructions and the spreadsheets to be updated will be provided at the beginning of the project.
There may be opportunities for further project work for the right person.
