The Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town are seeking a reliable and dedicated Night Porter to join our team. Full-time or part-time role will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in designated areas, including lobbies, hallways and restrooms throughout the night.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required
- Ensure only guests are allowed beyond the reception areas for security and safety reasons.
- Respond to guest inquiries and assist with any late-night requests.
- Conduct regular checks of the hotel premises to ensure everything is secure and in order.
- Provide support to other staff members as needed including light maintenance.
- Report any maintenance or security issues to the relevant departments.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellence communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
- Must be available to work overnight, including weekends and holidays.
