Multi-Task Assistant (Kitchen Assistant - Primary Focus)Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Supporting the catering team in the preparation and service of meals for residents in line with dietary, nutritional, and food safety requirements.
- Assisting with basic food preparation, plating, and serving of meals.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage areas, in line with HACCP and infection control guidelines.
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and well-organised at all times.
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and correct food storage.
- Supporting residents with meals where required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Maintaining a warm, safe, and respectful environment for residents throughout the nursing home.
- Assisting nursing and care staff with non-clinical duties as required.
- Supporting residents with daily activities where appropriate.
- Assisting in end-of-life care in a supportive and compassionate manner, under the direction of nursing staff.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as assigned by nursing staff or management.

If you are a compassionate, reliable, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential.
