MIDWEEK Part Time Wait Staff and Housekeeping Required (Seasonal)
Cloughjordan House is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking person to join our team for the busy autumn wedding season.
This is a hybrid role involving both waitstaff and housekeeping duties. The successful candidate should be comfortable working across different departments and helping wherever required.
Main Duties
- Setting up and serving at weddings and events
- Providing friendly and professional service to guests
- Clearing tables and assisting with event clean-up
- Preparing and cleaning guest bedrooms and public areas
- Changing bed linen and replenishing guest supplies
- Supporting the wider team during busy periods
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
What We Are Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in both waiting and housekeeping
- Good attention to detail
- Friendly and professional when dealing with guests
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transport to and from Cloughjordan House
Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience would be helpful but is not essential, as training will be provided.
There may be an opportunity for further employment when our 2027 wedding season begins in mid-March.

We are a family run private wedding and corporate events venue, with a focus on providing genuine hospitality, sustainably sourced food, and a welcoming, helpful team. The atmosphere is relaxed and intended to be a home away from home for our guests. Our walled garden provides many of the vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers for our cooking school and events, while other produce is sourced as locally as possible from artisan producers.
