Job Purpose
The Social Care Leader is required to fulfil the running of the service in support of the Deputy Manager and PIC. The Social Care Leader is expected to build and maintain high standards of social work practice within the service and ultimately the organisation as a whole.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Take ownership for educating themselves about each service user within the service and how their disability affects them.
Report and recording and carrying out assessments.
Be accountable for supporting the day to day running of the service and responsible for the execution and delivery of person-centred approach.
Lead and support the staff team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, including planning, training, supervision, and day-to-day service operations.
Take responsibility for understanding individual service users' needs and disabilities, promoting independence, inclusion, and engagement in meaningful activities.
Maintain high standards of documentation, including assessments, reports, audits, and service user files, ensuring compliance with policies, HIQA regulations, and GDPR.
What You'll Need
Qualifications requirements
- Relevant Social Care Qualification, Social Science, Psychotherapy or Psychology, minimum level 7.

Experience working with people who have complex needs.
Full Driver's licence.

Successful candidates will be subject to Garda Vetting through Tusla and the National Vetting Bureau
