A well-established residential developer is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in South Dublin. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming residential developments and continued growth within the business, this is an urgent hire offering excellent long-term career prospects.
The successful candidate will join a busy commercial team working across high-quality residential projects, with strong exposure to all stages of the development lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with Irish construction experience looking to progress within a developer environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial aspects of residential developments from commencement through to completion.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting.
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
- Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasting.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Support senior commercial staff with project delivery and reporting.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years’ experience within the Irish construction industry.
- Residential construction experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
- Motivated and ambitious individual seeking long-term progression.
Package
- €60,000 – €75,000 DOE.
