Our finance team is at the heart of the business, supporting our operations with accuracy, efficiency, and a can-do attitude and we're now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join us.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance person to join a busy, fast-paced finance department within a thriving business located in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our accounts function, working closely with a supportive and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, credit control, and cash allocation
- Accounts Payable (AP), including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing payment runs
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting as required
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general ledger accuracy
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers/customers to resolve queries
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc finance duties and projects
- Weekly Payroll processing
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years' experience working within a finance team
- Solid, hands-on experience with AR and AP processes
- Payroll experience would be a strong advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a similar industry (construction, mechanical, or Engineering) is beneficial but not essential
