Role Overview
Samsic Facility is seeking a reliable, proactive and hands-on Maintenance & Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in warehouse operations, maintenance, facilities support, or a similar environment.
This is a varied role combining general maintenance and repair work with warehouse support responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have proven handyman or maintenance experience and be confident carrying out a wide range of repairs, installations, and general upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Alongside these duties, they will support the smooth operation of our warehouse through stock management, deliveries, collections, and equipment organisation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can work independently while supporting the wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and handyman duties across company facilities.

Complete minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrical repairs where appropriate.

Assemble, install, and repair fixtures, fittings, shelving, and equipment.

Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and install dispensers at customer sites where required.

Organise and maintain warehouse stock, equipment, machinery, and supplies.

Deliver and collect equipment, machinery, consumables, and materials to and from customer sites.

Load, unload, and safely store stock while maintaining an organised warehouse.

Carry out routine inspections of equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures within the warehouse and during maintenance activities.

Support operational teams with facilities, warehouse, and logistics-related tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
-
Proven experience in a handyman, maintenance, facilities, or building services role.

Strong practical skills with experience carrying out a variety of general repairs and maintenance tasks.

Full clean driving licence.

Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
Desirable
-
Experience working within the Facilities Management, Cleaning, or Security Services industry.

PAT Testing certification.

Forklift licence.
-
Experience with warehouse operations or stock control.

Manual Handling certification.
