We’re Hiring – Culinary Lead for The 1896 Wine & Tapas Bar
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic food professional to join the team at 1896, our new wine and cocktail bar in the heart of Enniskerry village.
This role does not require a qualified chef. We would love to hear from someone with a culinary background, a genuine interest in food and the confidence to take responsibility for preparing and presenting our food offering.
Our menu will focus on high-quality sharing food, including cheese and charcuterie boards, salads, small plates, truffle fries and other simple but beautifully presented dishes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with food in a professional setting
- A strong understanding of food preparation, presentation and hygiene
- Creativity and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and help develop our food offering
- A passion for quality ingredients and creating a memorable guest experience
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new hospitality concept and play an important role in shaping the food offering at 1896.
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
