Field Service Maintenance Engineer
We are recruiting Field Service Engineers on behalf of a growing nationwide service provider that delivers installation, maintenance, and technical support across commercial equipment and facilities throughout Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified electricians, gas engineers, refrigeration technicians, maintenance fitters, and multi-skilled trades professionals looking to develop their careers in a field-based engineering role. Full product and manufacturer training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair commercial equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration-related faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Install, commission, and test new equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and provide effective technical solutions
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure high standards of health & safety and customer service
- Work independently while managing daily service schedules
- Participate in an on-call rota
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in:
- Electrical maintenance
- Industrial or commercial maintenance
- Field service engineering
- Facilities maintenance
- HVAC or refrigeration engineering
- Gas servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical fitting or maintenance trades
Candidates with strong technical aptitude and fault-finding skills from related trades backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Flexibility to travel throughout Ireland
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies
