Duty Manager – Full Time SPORTSCO | Ringsend, Dublin 4 SPORTSCO is seeking an experienced, energetic, and commercially minded Duty Manager to join our leadership team at one of Ireland’s leading leisure facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated operations professional with strong people management skills, a passion for customer service excellence, and experience managing busy leisure or hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the leisure facility, ensuring exceptional standards across all departments
- Lead, motivate, and support operational and fitness teams during shifts
- Deliver outstanding member and guest experiences through strong customer engagement and service management
- Ensure health & safety, pool operations, and compliance standards are maintained at all times
- Drive membership sales, retention, and member engagement initiatives
- Manage operational issues efficiently and make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Support staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
- Maintain high presentation and operational standards throughout the facility
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a leisure, fitness, hospitality, or customer-focused environment
- A recognised Management qualification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience managing teams and operations independently
- A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and operational performance
- Gym Instructor qualification with REPS accreditation
- Experience teaching a variety of fitness classes
- Pool Plant and/or Poolguard qualification desirable
- Experience in membership sales, retention, and commercial performance
