Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and dependable Pharmacy OTC Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the accurate dispensing of over-the-counter medications, and assisting customers with their queries and concerns. This position is perfect for someone in college or with an interest in the pharmacy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with excellent customer service
- Advise customers on over-the-counter medications, supplements, and other health products
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Keep the store clean and tidy, including organizing shelves and displays
- Assist with other tasks as required by the pharmacy manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Experience in retail or pharmacy sales is preferred, but not essential
- Pharmacy students are preferred
- Must be available to work on Saturdays and other days as required
