We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen teams, capable of working across sections and supporting both lunch and evening service.
This role suits a well-rounded chef who values standards, organisation, and teamwork, and who is comfortable taking responsibility within a structured kitchen environment. You will be supported by strong kitchen leadership and given opportunities to develop within a growing hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lunch and dinner menu items to consistently high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Work confidently across multiple sections as required, supporting smooth service during both lunch and dinner periods.
- Follow standardised recipes, portion controls, and plating specifications to maintain consistency and control food costs.
- Complete mise en place efficiently in advance of service to ensure pace and organisation during busy periods.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in line with HACCP requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and actively minimise food waste.
- Support menu development, specials, and seasonal changes in collaboration with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef.
- Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff during prep and service where required.
- Ensure full compliance with allergen procedures and the correct use of allergen codes across all menus.
- Identify, report, and follow up on any equipment, maintenance, or health and safety issues.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP in a busy, professional kitchen.
- Broad cooking skills with the ability to work across sections during lunch and dinner service.
- Organised, calm under pressure, and capable of managing time effectively during service.
- Sound understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- High attention to detail with a consistent, quality-driven approach to food.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. Flexibility to work a mix of lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
