About the role
As an Applicant Experience & Outreach Officer, your primary focus will be delivering outreach activity across the region, representing BIMM University in schools, colleges, community settings and at recruitment events. You'll deliver workshops, presentations and information sessions that help prospective students explore their study options and gain a genuine insight into life at BIMM University.
You'll also support the delivery of applicant experience activities such as open days, interviews and campus tours, helping prospective students access the information, guidance and support they need to make informed decisions about their next steps.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver outreach workshops, presentations and information sessions in schools, colleges and community settings across the region.
- Act as an ambassador for BIMM University at careers fairs, exhibitions and other recruitment events.
- Help plan and deliver applicant experience events, including open days, experience days, interviews and auditions.
- Lead engaging campus tours for prospective students, parents, guardians and other visitors.
- Share clear, accurate information and guidance with prospective students, parents, advisers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Student Ambassadors and colleagues across Recruitment, Admissions and Marketing to deliver an excellent applicant experience.
- Contribute to wider student recruitment and admissions activity during key periods, including application and enrolment cycles.
- Support widening participation by engaging with under-represented groups and communities.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience planning, coordinating or delivering events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of audiences.
- Confidence presenting to groups and delivering engaging workshops, talks or information sessions.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently when required.
- A genuine interest in supporting students and helping them make informed decisions about their future.
- A willingness to travel regularly as part of the role and represent BIMM University at external events and activities.
Pay: €29,486.00-€31,096.00 per year
