Due to continued growth, DAF Trucks Cork are seeking a full time based HGV Mechanic to join our team
Candidates should have
- Full qualification as mechanic/technician.
- Full driving licence.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative.
- Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks.
The role will include
- Repair & maintenance of commercial vehicles.
- Workshop van to look after fleet customers.
- Training to main dealer requirements for DAF Trucks. Which may include travelling abroad for courses.
- Carry out diagnostic fault identification and rectification repair.
- All technician are required for 24 hr call out rotation. Roughly 6 weeks annually.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Full training provided with continuing career development programs ongoing. Right candidate will receive workshop van to look after fleet customers.
Candidate must be resident in Ireland and have any necessary permits to work in Ireland.
