We are currently recruiting a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with clients to oversee the development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.

To produce detailed function sheets for each event and to send out in a timely fashion - to then work in collaboration with our operations team to ensure the delivery of the event exceeds our client's expectations.

To communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.

Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.

Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.

To work as part of the sales team; to contribute to & assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.

Ensure there is fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.

To promote sell-up opportunity, cross-sell of F&B outlets as appropriate.
Key Requirements:

Have a real understanding of hotel operations and specifically Conference and Events.

1-2 years experience in a similar role.

Passion, energy, enthusiasm.

The ability to work under pressure.

Excellent attention to detail.
-
Ability to work on own initiative.
-
Strong communication, negotiation and contract management skills.
-
Knowledge of Opera ideal but not essential.
-
Previous 4/5* hotel experience.
