Overview:
We are looking for a Maintenance person, for a Dublin City Centre location to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hospitality or accommodation setting (hotel, hostel, guesthouse etc). This is a hands-on role and is suited to someone practical, reliable and comfortable working on their own. The main objective of the role is maintaining high standards of building compliance and upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Working across city centre venues to maintain high standards of building compliance.
- Assessing, planning and completing various maintenance tasks in accommodation venues.
- Plan, schedule and liaise with any external trades that are required.
- Work in conjunction with Management to ensure all routine inspections and compliance service agreements are up to date.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- General maintenance and upkeep of the property.
- Carry out routine repairs.
- Installation of equipment.
Requirements;
- Have at least five years’ experience in the field and will ideally have some tools.
- Experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experienced in plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry trades.
- Task orientated with strong organisational abilities.
- H&S and building compliance experience desired.
- Fire and H&S knowledge is desirable for maintaining high standards of comfort and safety.
- Permitted to work in Ireland.
- Organisational skill desirable to plan, schedule and liaise with any external trades that are required.
Monday to Friday with weekend availability if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €27,000.00-€51,401.17 per year
