We have an exciting opportunity at our new location in Galway as we are looking for experienced printers (offset and or screen printing)! There is an opportunity to grow in a newly formed team and shape our positive future. We combine the craftsmanship of printing with modern measuring and testing methods to meet the highest industry standards. As a member of our security print shop, you will be responsible for providing our customers with high quality printed products in the areas of commercial cards, ID cards and passports.

As our Security Printer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Independent operation of the following production lines: offset printing 5 colours, offset printing 1 colour and/or fully automatic cylinder screen printing and semi-automatic flatbed lines.
- Optimizing of product quality in collaboration with the Printshop or Operations production management.
- Professional usage of provided lines.
- Assessment of machine and tool condition.
- Reporting of defects wear and tear.
- Execution of quality control of raw material before start of production.
- Ensure operation of quality control.
- Assessment and documentation of product quality.
- Documentation of material usage and production parameters.

Your Experience and Education include:
- Professional experience as an offset printer and / or screen printer is essential.
- 5+ years’ experience in operating production lines.
Work Requirements:
- Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Occasional international travel and fieldwork may be required.
- Willingness and flexibility for shift work.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Support for relocation an/or visa requirements will be considered for suitability qualified candidates.
