Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to support our daily operations. The role involves delivering goods to customers and assisting with general warehouse duties during standard weekday office hours.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Duties
- Safely drive a company delivery van to deliver goods to customers and clients
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are handled with care
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues
Warehouse Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Receive, check, and store incoming stock
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid full driving licence (clean or minimal points preferred)
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and move goods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
