Night Porter / Cleaner required for busy hospitality operation in Navan, Co. Meath
Requirements
- Previous hospitality, night porter, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Excellent spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
- Midweek and weekend work required.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises throughout the night, carrying out regular security checks and locking procedures.
- Welcome and assist late-arriving guests, responding to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to guest requests professionally where required.
- Carry out routine checks of the building and report any maintenance issues, damage, or security concerns to Management.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, fire safety, and security procedures are followed at all times.
- Carry out cleaning duties throughout the premises to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are used and stored correctly in line with Health and Safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach to work, and the ability to work confidently on their own during overnight shifts while maintaining exceptional standards of customer service.
