We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical sales executive to join an exciting and market-leading specialist in Renewable Energy Sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of business development experience, preferably within the Construction Industry. This role requires a strong technical background & is highly target-driven individual who can work independently to drive growth and expand our client base in the quickly growing commercial heat pump sector. Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Roll out CPD’s to Mechanical Consultants, specifiers, developers, County Council’s, OPW, etc.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
· Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share within sector.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
· Take ownership of projects from specification & quotation to final Installation
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
· Report on sales performance and provide insights on market developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Preferably a degree in business or Engineering (Building services)
- Minimum 3 years of business development experience, ideally in construction sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong technical, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of heat pumps would be an advantage.
Skills:
· Target-driven and results-oriented.
· Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Minimum degree/diploma in engineering/building services
Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
