We are now recruiting key staff to represent the National Transport Authority on this exciting campaign.
Role Description
This role offers the opportunity to engage directly with the public, promote the Galway Races on behalf of our client, and play a key part in making the Race Week a continued success.
As a campaign ambassador, you will be the friendly face of the service, providing information, answering questions, and ensuring that members of the public have a positive and informative experience.
Role 1 – Eyre Square Brand Ambassador
Total Hours: 25.5 hours (Monday–Saturday)
- Monday 27th July: 12:30pm – 5:00pm (4.5 hours)
- Tuesday 28th July: 12:15pm – 4:15pm (4 hours)
- Wednesday 29th July: 12:00pm – 5:00pm (5 hours)
- Thursday 30th July: 10:30am – 2:30pm (4 hours)
- Friday 31st July: 1:00pm – 5:00pm (4 hours)
- Saturday 1st: 9:30am – 1:30pm (4 hours)
Role 2 – Racecourse Promotional Staff
Total Hours: 12.5 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday)
- Monday 27th July: 2:00pm – 5:00pm (3 hours)
- Tuesday 28th July: 2:15pm – 5:15pm (3 hours)
- Thursday 30th July: 11:00am – 2:30pm (3.5 hours)
- Friday 31st July: 2:00pm – 5:00pm (3 hours)
Role 3 – On-Course Activation Staff
Total Hours: 12.5 hours
- Friday 31st July: 2:30pm – 8:00pm (5.5 hours)
- Saturday 1st: 11:00am – 6:00pm (7 hours*)

· Engaging with the public regarding the Galway Races
· Creating a positive experience through confident, friendly communication
· Answering questions clearly and directing people to further information if needed
· Working as part of a team to ensure all key locations are covered
· Maintaining a professional and approachable attitude at all times
· Representing the campaign brand positively in public
Ideal Candidate - FLUENT ENGLISH - Aged 21 plus.
· Naturally outgoing, approachable, and confident in social settings
· Energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoys meeting new people
· Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules or locations
· Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
· Works well both independently and as part of a team
· Positive attitude, resilient, and able to stay motivated throughout the day
· Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
Training
Training will be provided for all successful candidates. You will receive guidance on how to engage with the public, explain the services been offered, and represent the campaign professionally.
Pay: €15.00 per hour
