Job Summary:
A reliable customer focused sales assistant is required at the premises of a busy plant and tool hire company. This is a versatile role that involves providing customer service at the sales counter and in the plant yard.
Duties to include:
- Greet and assist customers at the counter/on the phone with product information, pricing, and recommendations
- Process sales transactions & delivery dockets
- Assist customers in locating and loading hire items in the yard
- Help with unloading incoming stock and organizing the stores
- Perform stock checks and report low level items
- Operate basic equipment such as pallet trucks, trolleys, and forklifts as certified
- Carry out general maintenance and minor manual tasks as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and cash handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Previous experience in retail, customer service and yard work is preferred but not essential. Full on the job training will be provided.
Pay: €16.00-€20.00 per hour
