About the Role
ICAD company is seeking an experienced Project Manager – ELV to lead and manage ELV systems and associated works for a major airport project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, planning, execution and delivery of ELV works, ensuring that all systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with project specifications, international standards and client requirements.
This is a senior project management position requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and proven experience managing complex ELV projects within major construction, infrastructure or airport environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of ELV packages across the airport project.
- Manage ELV systems including, as applicable, structured cabling, ICT, CCTV, access control, security systems, public address/voice evacuation, BMS, SMATV, AV and other low-current systems.
- Coordinate ELV activities with architectural, civil, MEP, structural and other specialist contractors.
- Manage project programmes, resources, procurement, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery in accordance with approved programmes and milestones.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with the client, consultant, main contractor and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable international standards, airport requirements and HSE procedures.
- Monitor project costs, variations, commercial matters and resource requirements.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Identify project risks, technical issues and potential delays and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Manage testing, commissioning, handover and close-out of ELV systems.
- Lead and develop project engineering and site teams.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety and documentation throughout project execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Typically 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with significant experience in ELV/low-current systems.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager managing large-scale ELV projects.
- Previous experience on airport, aviation, major infrastructure, commercial or large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ELV/ICT/security systems and their integration within complex buildings and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Strong project planning, coordination, reporting and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, project programmes, variations and commercial management.
- International project experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in the GCC or Middle East would be an advantage but is not essential.
