Responsible For: Cleaning and Maintenance
- Duties and Responsibilities
- To clean the Restaurant every morning including the toilets.
- To clean pots and pans, cutlery and crockery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
- To ensure that store rooms and cleaning cupboards are kept clean and organised.
- To maintain the highest level of cleanliness, including safety of furniture, fixtures and fittings. To ‘clean as you go’ to ensure a clean and tidy work area.
- To ensure the correct use of all cleaning products and chemicals.
- To keep any back corridors (emergency exits) clean and free of clutter and boxes.
- To ensure all deliveries are checked and signed before putting everything away in their designated places.
- To ensure that all food and beverage products are correctly stored, dated, labelled and rotated where necessary.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, and meet Saba grooming and uniform standards.
- To maintain healthy relationships with fellow employees.
- To be empowered to deal with problems, through following the HEAL process, and to seek advice when unsure what to do.
- To develop self and others, by responding to and giving feedback to other associates.
- To comply with predetermined food handling procedures.
- To follow the Saba Way standards at all times.
