As a Social Care Worker & Care Assistant in a Residential setting, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to live fulfilling, self-directed lives. Hours:
Opportunties available for full time and part time position's working on a shift basis, including evening, overnight (sleepover/waking nights) and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Applicable to the role of Social Care Worker:
-
CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential).
-
QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care or a related discipline (or equivalent leading to CORU registration).
Applicable to the role of Care Assistant:
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare (or working towards completion)
Experience:
-
Experience in the field of intellectual disabilities or autism is desirable.
-
Experience working in residential services is an advantage.
-
Experience delivery person-centred support.
-
Experience delivering positive behaviour support and low arousal approaches.
Knowledge & Skills:
-
Awareness of key worker role and philosophy of supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
-
Knowledge of Health Act 2007, HIQA, National Standards and other regulatory requirements.
-
Strong understanding of person-centred and human rights based approaches.
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
-
Ability to use initiative, problem-solve, and work independently.
-
Commitment to continuous professional development.

Good organisational and IT skills.
Additional Requirements:

Full, clean Irish driving license.
