CNC lathe programmer / operater required for a busy machine shop.
Main duties would include programming set up and machining of mostly bespoke parts in stainless steel and engineering plastics.
It would advantageous if the candidate could also programme and operate 3 axis CNC milling machines . The ideal candidate would also be required to operate manual lathes from time to time.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a busy workshop environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with machine setup and tooling changes
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Strong team player with effective communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Basic IT skills (experience with CAD viewing software or shop-floor systems advantageous)
- Monday–Friday working pattern
Pay: €18.00-€22.60 per hour
