Part-Time Accounts Administrator
15-20 hours per week | Tullamore
Photo Experience Ltd is an award-winning, expanding business based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, specialising in immersive photography experiences. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to take ownership of the day-to-day financial administration of the business.
This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced accounts professional or bookkeeper who can work independently, maintain accurate records and provide the Directors with timely financial information.
THE ROLE
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment schedules for Director approval.
- Reconcile sales information between the operational system and Xero.
- Monitor customer accounts and assist with credit control and the collection of outstanding balances.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and assist the Directors in monitoring cash flow and maintaining accurate cash records.
- Process payroll for full-time and seasonal employees and maintain payroll records.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Xero.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure submissions are completed within statutory deadlines.
- Assist with month-end procedures and liaise with external accountants during the year-end accounts process.
- Maintain organised financial records and supporting documentation, and provide the Directors with timely and accurate financial information to support data-driven decisions.
- Undertake other finance and administrative duties and assist with finance projects, new procedures, process improvements and other business initiatives as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to five years' relevant bookkeeping or accounts administration experience.
- Experience with payroll, VAT and Xero or similar accounting software.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with Dext, Hubdoc or within a growing SME would be an advantage.
WHAT WE OFFER

- €17.00-€20.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated capability.
