Night Pack Assistant – SuperValu Naas

Job Purpose
The Night Pack Assistant is responsible for replenishing and organising stock throughout the store during night hours, ensuring the shop floor is fully stocked, clean, organised and ready for customers when the store opens.
Main Duties
- Replenish shelves with stock delivered to the store.
- Merchandise products according to store layouts and planograms.
- Face up and present shelves to a high standard.
- Rotate stock correctly and check product dates.
- Follow FIFO (first in, first out) procedures where required.
- Check deliveries and move stock safely from the delivery area to the appropriate department.
- Keep the back store, cages and working areas clean and organised.
- Ensure stock is stored safely and correctly.
- Report damaged, missing or out-of-date products to the Night Pack Manager or Duty Manager.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety.
- Work efficiently to ensure assigned areas are completed before the morning opening.
- Assist colleagues with other departments when required.
- Follow company procedures relating to waste, security and safe manual handling.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working as part of the night team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

- A willingness to carry out physical work, including lifting and moving stock.
- Flexibility to work overnight, including weekends where required.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous supermarket, retail, warehouse or stock-replenishment experience is an advantage, but training may be provided.
Working Hours
9/10:00pm –5/ 6:00am
The role involves working overnight while the store is closed to customers. The main objective is to have stock replenished, shelves faced and the store prepared for the morning trading period.

Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
