Comer Group Ireland, one of Ireland's largest private residential and commercial companies, are seeking a Full Time Carpenter to join our construction team based in Sandyford south Dublin. This role is a 24 month fixed term contract with possible extension depending on other developments.

Key Responsibilities
-
Carry out all aspects of carpentry and finishing works within residential apartment developments, including fitting, installation, and repair of fixtures, fittings, and household elements.

Oversee finishing works on site to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Coordinate and work alongside subcontractors and trades personnel to ensure efficient delivery and sequencing of works.

Monitor and maintain high standards of workmanship across all carpentry and finishing activities.

Identify, report, and proactively address any defects or preventative maintenance issues to the Maintenance or Site Manager.

Maintain regular communication with the site management team, and Property Managers to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Assist with general site duties where required, including assembly and installation.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor building, fixtures, and utilities-related issues as they arise on site.

Ensure plant, tools, and equipment are used safely, maintained correctly, and stored appropriately.

Prepare basic material requirements.

Adhere strictly to all Health, Safety, and Welfare regulations and company policies at all times.

Respond promptly to building-related safety concerns and emergency call-outs where necessary.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with company standards, building regulations, and best practice.

Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised working environment across all areas of responsibility.

Attend and contribute to site meetings as required.

Work collaboratively with site management to drive progress and ensure timely completion of works.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders across multiple sites within the assigned region.

Travel between sites as required to support construction and finishing activities.
