Evergreen Care is seeking a competent Nursing Home and HR Admin to oversee the daily operations of our Raheny Nursing Home. This essential role in healthcare administration provides support to management, staff, and residents while ensuring strict compliance with HIQA, HSE, WRC, and the organisation’s standards.
The successful candidate will possess experience in nursing home, healthcare, or HR administration, demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, and be comfortable operating within a regulated care environment.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Resident Administration

Maintain and update resident contracts, including Fair Deal documentation

Prepare and issue resident correspondence and letters

Process resident payments and amend records on EpicCare
-
Liaise with pharmacies regarding new resident admissions
Staff & HR Administration
-
Prepare, update, and issue staff contracts and HR correspondence
-
Create and maintain employee onboarding packs
-
Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records
-
Coordinate with payroll regarding new starters, leavers, and wage queries
-
Set up and monitor staff attendance on Time Point (HRIS)
-
Track annual leave, sick leave, and absence trends
-
Notify management when wellness or absence meetings are required

Attend and minute staff and wellness meetings
-
Maintain contracted hours, recruitment trackers, and master staff spreadsheets
-
Monitor Garda Vetting, IRP cards, and work permits, ensuring renewals are completed

Ensure HR documentation complies with WRC requirements
Recruitment & Training

Support recruitment administration and candidate tracking

Coordinate and book mandatory staff training
-
Maintain up‑to‑date training and compliance records
General Administration

Provide administrative support to nursing home management

Ensure daily operational tasks and weekly audits are completed

Support and coordinate the admin and reception team

Delegate tasks to ensure efficient team performance

Arrange delivery of blood samples to the designated laboratory as required
