Business Development Assistant

Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and commercially minded Business Development Assistant to join the APC team! This is a full-time role, based at our office in Limerick. The core working hours are 8:00am-5:00pm (including a 1-hour break), Monday to Friday.
Position Summary
The Business Development Assistant will be working directly with our Business Development Team, you will support market research, identify and develop new business prospects, provide sophisticated administrative support, and coordinate overall proposal development.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Proposal Planning.
- Support preparation of the initial review report of the RFP documents to BD team.
- Support the preparation and organization of internal proposal kickoff meetings.
- Generate proposal deliverables schedule and develop implementation strategies.
- Assist with proposal deliverables schedule and deadlines.
- Assist in collaborating with in-house engineering and procurement teams to obtain and evaluate meaningful data necessary for proposals.
- Coordination between the proposal and execution teams.
- Assist in managing proposals through drafting clarifications, reviewing proposal drafts, and completion of customer pricing forms.
- Attend and actively participate in proposal review meetings.
- Assist in development of and maintain document tracker for EPC contract.
- Schedule and attend internal weekly contract meetings with applicable departments to inform status of EPC documents and acquiring status of open items.
- Take notes from OEM meetings on PIE Agreements and Assignment Agreements to provide comments and modifications to documents.
- Conduct market research and put together marketing materials.
- Track projects and opportunities in the marketplace.
- Assist with PowerPoint presentations for all Client, EOR and OEM meetings.
- Review and update all APC employee CV's, company, and project summary sheets for inclusion in RFI, RFQ, and proposals.
- Maintain and update client contact database.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Construction/Project Management or related field AND 3 years communication, marketing, Business Development, or related experience.
- Experience in preconstruction and in industrial or power plant construction a plus.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a good knowledge of building and writing proposals/presentations.
- Strong quantitative aptitude and computer skills required including use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Effective relationship builder and negotiator who can collaborate across different functions of the business.
