Join our Homesavers dynamic team as Retail Trainee Store Manager/ Team Leader.
You will support the Store Leaders in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and managing the daily operations of the store. Your leadership and organizational skills will ensure a high-performing team and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Store in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and store appearance to ensure a high standard of presentation.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control store expenses, minimizing shrinkage and ensuring accurate cash handling.
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in retail.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build customer relationships.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software is preferred.
