Senior Mechanical Project Manager - Cork or Athlone (travelling to Europe is required)
We are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our PharmaceuticalProject in Cork or Athone. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, leading project delivery and helping drive project excellence from start to completion.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Director, accountable for the effective management and delivery of projects from initial client contact through to handover and the end of the warranty period. Ensuring project objectives are achieved while maintaining high standards of service, maximising profitability, and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:

Agree a training plan for staff and operatives with the Director of the project.
- Effective day to day running of site activities.
- Delivery of the project within the given constraints of time and cost.
- Monthly team meetings to discuss project progress against milestones.
- Ensure compliance with programme, materials deliveries, engineering, quality and safety.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Audits to be carried out by the Engineering Manager in accordance with the design plan.
- Attend meetings with the client.
- Hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors covering health, safety and training.
- Ensure effective cost and sales control in conjunction with Q.S & Lead Engineers.
- Advise client in good time of current sales plan.
- Ensure productivity at work face is measured on a weekly basis also maintain project progress control.
About You
Your Experience:

Strong project management experience delivering MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.

Extensive experience in Mechanical Project Management.

Good financial and commercial knowledge.

Ability to manage multiple large mechanical packages.

Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Your Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Previous experience working within the construction industry.

Previous experience working in a similar role.
