We are looking to recruit a kitchen porter to join our team here with us for holiday cover in September only. This is NOT a full time position. Candidates are expected to work on a rota system, mornings, evenings, late night deep cleans, weekends etc, so will NOT suit anyone looking for 1 or 2 days or a few hours a week or someone that attends college etc.

- Job Responsibility
- · Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitised· Sweep and mop floors· Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations· Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation· Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries· Keep the food and supply storage areas organised· Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed
- Experience preferred but a willingness to work is more more important
- Morning work starts at 8am. Evening work may finish about midnight, so own transport is essential if commuting!
Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Westport, County Mayo: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
