Role of a Supervisor
The role of a Supervisor is to work as part of the Derrycourt team in supporting the delivery of a superior service and provide an on-site Management function that will support both the client relationship and employee relationships while maintaining the highest cleaning standards.
Shift: Full Time Position, Typical roster 5 days per week - Successful Candidate must be flexible Monday - Sunday. Roster can vary between the hours of 08:30am-7:30pm.

Responsibilities
General

To ensure the Service Level Agreement is being achieved and client expectations are being met.

To manage the work of the Cleaning Operatives to include training, instructing and day to day supervising.

To undertake, as part of the team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Ensure your team are always using the correct cleaning methods and equipment is kept clean and in good working order and notify management of equipment deficiencies or equipment that needs repairs.

Ensure correct materials and equipment are in stock on site and notify head office or your manager if you need additional supplies.

Manage time effectively to ensure maximum use of resources.

Ensure accurate records are maintained including time and attendance, time sheets, site minutes etc.

Continuously review work methods and procedures in order to maximize efficiencies.

To ensure compliance with all legislation i.e. Employment and Health and Safety.

To monitor compliance with the Uniform Policy and address any issues/breaches as they arise.

Report any accidents or incidents to the Health & Safety Manager and ensure accident/incident report forms are completed as per policy.

You should always maintain a professional and tidy appearance befitting a representative of Derrycourt.

You should be courteous and respectful ensuring good relations with all clients and members of the general public.
Health and Safety

You should familiarize yourself with all EHS legislation and Derrycourt EHS Policies and Procedures and adhere to same.

Adhere the Derrycourt NO Tolerance Policy.

Follow all site emergency evacuation procedures.

Ensure that you are not under the influence of any intoxicant while at work.

Follow all safe work inductions working on site either a Derrycourt facility and/or a Client site.

Co-operate with management on all health, safety and environmental matters.

Participate in safety and health training provided by Derrycourt.

Use all safety equipment provided and report any equipment defects to management.

Report any defects or hazards in the place of work, equipment, etc. which might endanger safety and health.

Do not engage in any improper conduct that could endanger your own safety or health or that of anyone else.
