Munster Truck & Trailer Services is the onsite Garage of Dungarvan Transport Ltd. The primary role of the Garage is to maintain, repair & service the company fleet of trucks and trailers. There are 220 vehicles in the fleet and there are a minimum of 7 vehicles for test every week. The garage also performs repairs and maintenance for a number of 3rd party Customers.
We currently have a vacancy for a Garage Manager. This is a challenging role and will suit a person who has an ability to multi task and manage a busy workshop. The key requirements of the job will be;
Day to day scheduling of work in garage
Working with the garage supervisor to ensure efficiency and excellent service in the workshop
Liaise with transport planning to manage the fleet repairs & maintenance
Manage a team of 12 employees
Health & Safety in the garage
CVRT scheduling & planning
Supplier and parts management
Jobcard monitoring and tracking
Jobcard costing & invoicing
Timesheets & labour cost allocation
Workflow and efficiency in the garage
Machinery maintenance & certification
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and exceptionally organised. Previous experience in the Motor, Commercial Vehicle or Transport Industry is required. A background in business management will also be an advantage.
Pay: €40,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
