Steel Detailer - Tekla - Murlock Construction, Rathangan, Co Kildare
Experience: 3+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required
Applicants must be already resident in Ireland and have their own transport.
Role is office based.
- Murlock Construction are seeking a Tekla Steel Detailer to join their team to work on large nationwide projects. In this office based role, you will assist the team in providing design and manufacturing services.
- You will be required to produce GA drawings, fabrication details and BOM’s using Tekla 3D. You will be required to create 3D models and fabrication drawings from your site surveys, architects drawings and structural engineers detail.
- You will be office based however there may be need to meet with customers from time to time and be willing to liaising with different teams and customers.
Requirements
3+ years experience working within structural steel in construction, from Industrial & agricultural portal frame buildings to secondary steelwork, staircases, mezzanines etc.
Experienced using Tekla to produce drawings
An understanding of cladding systems would be an advantage, but not essential.
Ability to work on own initiative, and good communication skills essential.
